After reading the reviews, I assumed with my high instep and wide foot, that I ordered the wrong size. (I also spoke directly to Frye Co. and even they said to order a 1/2 size up.) They were wrong. I ordered a 9.5 and I wear a 9.5. These are the nicest pair of boots that I have ever owned. I unbuckled them first and I was able to slip them on (after a long day at work) with little difficulty. I have thin calves and they are nice and slouchy. I love how the top of the boot is not a perfect "circle". It slopes a little. I wore them around a little last night and they were comfortable. They also smell great (like rich leather). The dark brown is absolutely gorgeous. I will wear them with everything!! I love these boots. Well worth the money.
