Look:The picture of these shoes online doesn't do them justice! I saw them before and thought they looked good and it wasn't until I saw them on someone that I fell in love. As soon as I received these and put them on, I fell in love, these shoes are so hot! I bought them for a photo shoot and made the best choice ever. I only walked around my living room with them on but I really didn't want to take them off. They are a little higher than I normally wear, but too hot that it doesn't matter. These shoes are sexy and extremely comfortable. I felt like I have to wear these out on a sexy forbidden adventure when I took them out of the box and put them on. But sky high - they really ARE 4-3/4 inch (seemed like 5 inches to me) so be prepared for that height - I found them to be true to size, ordered a size 7 which was a bit too small for me, as I can wear 7-1/2. I’m returning them only because the gray color was the wrong shade - did not match my gown. I am very happy with these. The metallic leather straps are super soft, and since there is a slight platform, the heel is not as high as you think. I got these in the Charles David store, but I had to buy a size smaller than I normally wear so that my feet weren't swimming in them. I normally wear a 7.5 or 8, but in these I took 7. As for color, the gold ones have a pretty pink/gold/multi snakeskin (faux) platform and ankle strap; the blue metallic ones are blue/green/multi snake.
